How many cells would Dell sell if Dell could sell cells?

Customer: [checks Dell web site for phone]

time passes

Customer: [calls Dell phone support]

Dell: Hello, how many I help you?

Customer: I'd like to buy 100 of your new phones for my business.

Dell: Oh, we don't sell them or lease them. You have to buy them from AT&T or somebody like that.

[CENSORED]

Customer: The whole reason I wanted Dell phones is to put it on my Dell account and by the way, I hate cell salesmen the way I hate used car salesmen.

Customer: [slams down phone]

Customer: [checks Google site, orders 100 phones]

Dell shareholders: [CENSORED]

@Dan

agreed. With no clear marketing strategy, this was done before it started. There is way too much competition for smart phones right now.

Remember the Axiom?

You know, the PDA that Dell introduced when they were both popular, how everyone said it'd sell like hotcakes and would take over the market? Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the sequel. Sit back, grab a bowl of popcorn, and watch this baby burn.
