all tard screens of certain generations are glossy,

Some of us preferred LCD screens to have their blacks looking black and not a dark grey that is why! :-)

Is that the same as forced redundancy. I refused to buy glossy screens because of reflection. It was so obvious. To this day I can't figure out what compelled consumers to buy them.

I was glad to read that. Maybe it will catch on and we can rid ourselves of these piece of crap glossy screens that were shoved onto consumers over the last several years.
