"First of all, Windows 7 has no "back door" that allows for remote access of your computer"
So either...
You illegally cracked and decompiled the release without ambiguity or error, or using your Ninja skills and the infiltration techniques gleaned from years of basement telly, liberated the Source from the Vault of the Voles (tm), and have been analyzing the millions of lines of code 24/7 since....
You horribly misunderstood what Steve Ballmer whispered in your ear as he worked his tiny c*ck in your *ss
You're post isn't offending any MS "fanboy's", although that word is always dragged out by the guy with the weakest argument. It is offending competent computer users, b/c they know that most of what you wrote was exaggeration or just plain BS.
First of all, Windows 7 has no "back door" that allows for remote access of your computer by government agencies. None. If the gov. gains physical possession of your PC then they've provided tools for forensic evidence collection but that is a far cry from what you describe.
Also, yes, there is support for DRM built into the OS but it only gets used on files that require it. As should be obvious by all the pirated content on Windows machines.
So if you like Linux, great. I use linux to help my repair Windows machines all the time. That doesn't mean you have to be a pretentious, overbearing little snot about it. I mean, its like you're a Mactard or something...
how, on every single article about Windows, there is always some Linux user that feels compelled to tell everyone that he doesn't use Windows ?
Doesn't that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside ?
No, actually, it doesn't. It feels more like someone butting into a conversation to blurt out something totally irrelevant. The first hundred times may be worth a smile, but after a thousand and counting, it just gets annoying.
The very same insecurity expert should know that security through obscurity is not a good approach to protection. The fact that he is putting his expertise on the line just to fume over MS for something that should have been publicized long time ago actually makes me worried about his expertise and the likes of him, seeing how they sell us security software.
I did not mean to offend any MS fanboys. I know I feel comfortable doing my online shopping and banking not using a DRM infected proprieatary OS. If you like to buy and use MS crap, by all means open your check book and go for it.
Elsewhere in the news, today a Federal Appeals court fined MS 290 million dollars and told to stop selling MS Word for patent infringement, LOL
I will stick with Open Office.
Well,if no one had read the Microsoft article regarding this issue,I guess Trend Micro & Sancho thought they would fill in the gaps & let EVERYONE know.
Or is it just another third party AV oufit, that sees itself failing under M$'s Essentials 'free' AV app'n?
I just picked up a new 13" Acer Timeline and the first thing I did after making restore disks (for resale value) was wipe the Swiss Cheese, DRM infected OS created by Microsoft with heavy input (back doors) from the FEDS/NSA off my machine.

Why hate on either OS? I run win7, virtualize XP, several distros of Linux, and several versions of Windows Server 2003/08.
You can have the best of both worlds.
how, on every single thread about someone not using Winblows, there is always some butthurt M$ fanboi who feels compelled to call him on it ?

Why are you getting emotional for?
He decided Linux is better, let him carry on!
P.S. I don't like Microsoft's lawyers :)
Atleast, now you can rest easy knowing that your "special" pictures are safe from discovery.
Did you also get rid of your tin foil hat?
