Exclusivity deals might work, like GTA on Xbox.

To be the main search giant you need to be the default that most people use. So they need to think current future and medium future.

Cars, phones etc, they are going to have internet tech built in. Tomtoms are already coming with internet/google updates, live traffic etc, MS should consider moving in on these. Maybe like how NVidia fund some games with TWIMTBP campaign, and Intel/AMD do too.

Mmmm, I like google's set of products, it's free and easy email which is far nicer to use than the slow advert infested hotmail. Yahoo mail is also getting slower and crappier.

Twitter is fast and simple, I personally think its for ego maniacs and desperate celebrities, but my point is that it's not cluttered. Bing is cluttered, so is hotmail.

MS can't help but clutter things up. Look at the new office, OMG WTF it's a POS. Have you tried mail merge, or even saving or printing, what a PITA.

MS just seem to have some very lame ass products out now. Share holders should be considering something else.
