NOOOOOOO!

This is not good news for us!

Does nobody remember five months ago when DDR2-800 was $8 for a 1GB Dimm, and 2GB modules were $19.99?

I'm regretting not buying more of the stuff in July, my supply is running out :(

3 x 2gb for £100, that's cheap.

6GB of fast ram for £100 is cheap. That's less than £20 per gb. I think RAM is cheap right now.

The worst price at the moment is Intel's X58 and i9xx series cpu's. If they were lower I could talk myself into buying one! ;-)

elpida is walking dead

elpida will go the way of the dinosaur.
They are toast and talking up prices to stay alive. Samsung/Hynix/Micron will destroy them.

Did the prices ever drop?

I kept waiting for prices to drop (as your past article implied) and never saw that happen
