64 Mb Buffer Cache'.

4X nust be older Machine, with itty bitty Cache. Now 2 TB HDD are popping Up with 64 Mb Cache. in Fact Some SSD Are Pointing to 128 Mb Cache. Think how Humiliated, Older Smaller Buffer Cache Machine Must Feel.

Ah, HA. Tiny Weenie Cache & Drop Out Seldom Used Phrases Like TB & Fall Back to Any Letters that Fit. Old Machines Do that.

nice one @xxxx

glad your hear two catch things like that. wouldn't have seen it myself. extra shot of pedantic in our coffee this morning? or just time to kill? :))

anyway, maybe a 2Gb drive would be an idea. at future possible bit densities, it could be one single track running round the outside edge of the disk platter. no head seeking, just the rotational latancy. super fast!
