Get a life you apple lovers!

Apple is only a company, and they only sell products. That's all.

Apple doesn't live, doesn't care, it's only a business.

Nick, nice one, keep knocking because the apple luvvies are entertaining.

Apple luvvies, please keep bashing Nick because without your foolish comments this wouldn't be as interesting ;-))

Long live the inquirer

I love a bit of apple trash talk. Even if it is just news from the dark satanic rumour mill. Keep it up guys. My dinner hour wouldn't be the same without you!

Long live competition

I am glad that Apple is going to go with the Arrandale processor.

I am glad that competition forced their hand.

I would have liked to see the new Mac Book Pro with this processor officially announced and ready in the first quarter of next.

@hexx and FIA

Thanks for commenting! Comments are one way advertizers guage the popularity of articles: when someone comments, even if it's just to say 'your article sucks', that shows that someone actually paid attention to the web page. And, you even viewed it twice - once for the article, ond again to make a comment. Possibly a third time, just to see your comment appear on the page.

Thank you for supporting the Inq!

@Everyone else: this article is actually a jab at Apple for being second-to-market. Don't be so picky about the word smithing.

seriously

'Apple is copying Dell's move to quad-core Core i7 chips.'

Er, I actually feel a bit stupid commenting on this but how can a computer manufacturer COPY another one by simply using what will be the defacto choice chip for high end lappy's?

I'm not even going to bother with a half-arsed analogy

@hexx

FWIW I've hardly read this site for the last couple of months. I got half way through this story, then I remembered why. :(

The glory days are gone my friend. Move along.

@hexx Who wants facts?

If you want pure facts, your in the wrong place. Move along please.

hmm where are the facts Nick?

"According to Fudzilla, Steve Jobs is apparently incandescent with rage and has been on the blower to Intel to order up the three new Arrandale chips for the next range of MacBook Pros."

- on the linked page (fudzilla) is no mention about apple at all.

"A lower voltage model will end up in the super-thin MacBook Air. We can expect the new line-up in June."

- i'm not aware of any source which confirms your theory

Why dell and apple? apple doesn't compete with dell's offering, not at all and that's something you probably know too, or am I wrong Nick?
