3g my arse!

I agree with the first comment. I am with Orange, and have never, not even once, received a 3g signal.

I live in Exeter, Devon, and have spoken to orange who assure me my phone (HTC Touch HD) and my wifes (some Nokia crap) are set up correctly, and their network covers my postcode. I live within 200m of the phone mast (can see it out my window). They are clearly talking bollox, and do not have a 3g network here.

Not really a problem for me, I don't often need coverage away from either my home or work wifi network, but it is quite frustrating that I can't use a service I no doubt pay for.

Three are Orange

Three is by far the best network I've ever been on, and definitely the cheapest. I've had no network issues whilst on Three..and when I was on Orange about 6 months ago..I had nothing but network trouble! I hope Three win this one ^-^

how quaint

Advertisers are not allowed to lie in UK? if we had rules like that here in north america 99.9% of them would suddenly disappear.

threes 3g network has been round in the uk longer then all the other networks that are just starting to do 3g so dosnt it sound right that three is the bigst 3g network in the uk and not orange

Claim-shmame

Orange can claim what they want... I'm a 3g user on their network, and can absolutely guarantee that I don't have 3g coverage 93% of the time. Maybe as much as 50%, although that's probably pushing it. For the record, I move mostly around the Home Counties and London - not exactly the outer reaches of the Hebredies.

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
