Early Adopter

Simply I want to watch what I want when I want. I dont mind paying for that.
I have tried many media center options including PS3 Xbox360 Dlink and the AppleTV. The Apple TV is the only one I still use. I pay $70 plus dollars a month and watch maybe 6 or 7 channels. With DVD releases coming out sooner I already have friends who wait to watch the new groundbreaking HBO or cable show until it's available on DVD. even then they get it from netflicks. It's time a change. Today I watched football game where between plays the Aflag duck covers half the screen as its walks across. I don't pay $70 to watch cartoon ducks and lizards cover my screen.

This is what I've been waiting for

I would love for an iTunes subscription TV service to be available where you can access episodes of all your favorite shows available thru the service on an unlimited subscription basis (no ridiculous 24 hour time limit like iTunes Movie rentals have once you start watching) if there downloadable TV rentals can continue to watch them as long as you pay the monthly fee for your subscription.

One thing though -- users should be able to subscribe in HD or SD -- they could pay $30 a month for a Standard Definition based TV subscription or get HD episodes delivered via iTunes for $10 more at about $40 a month. Making an affordable offering like that as cheap as they can possible compared to bills by digital cable TV and satellite TV providers would make replacing digital cable TV with an iTunes subscription TV service and save money more convenient.

10%?

"Converting just ten per cent of those music fans into TV subscribers for a year would bag Apple and its potential network partners a staggering $3.6 billion."

Reminds me of a comment I saw recently regarding this type of statement: "There are numbers less than 1%"

Meaning 10% is pulled out of thin air for no specific reason. What value does this service add that makes people want to pay for it?

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
