So nVidia sold Tesla to itself, I wonder if they will have to wait for delivery?

Maybe availablity will improve since their chums Intel adopted TSMC as their new best friend.

"Given that Nvidia has only been in business since 1993 it seems that time itself bends around the Green Goblin's press office."

Did you notice that it says "collective years"?

That means adding the years of research of NVIDIA and Mental Images together.

Playing with numbers and words to sound more impressive, sure; but hardly time bending.

Sounds Good

Streaming photorealistic 3D apps sounds good but what if we doent live in Sweden or Hongkong, where the connections could handle such massive data stream like that. The best available connection for me is only 8MB/s ($250 month).
I wonder how far off it is until we will able to bring this technology home. I doent think one of these Realityservers are going to be cheap.

Publicity

Seems NV are really getting the press to do their pre-Xmas marketing. Big story about use of GPU's in Hollywood on BBC News website today, in which Nvidia is clearly the only player in the market. They get to give expert quotes, they get their URL in the sidebar, they invented the GPU.

BBC News Online: Balance? We've heard of it.

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
