Obviously nobody has heard of Peer to Peer mode and ZeroConf.

What, another way to link devices? Geez, how many does that make now, about 483? Gawd, and people thought the VHS vs. Beta competition was messy.

Intel...

...already has this implemented in their existing drivers dubbed MyWifi. GUI is a little messy otherwise fairly useful.
