I think Sony really has done a wonder with the VAIO X. Man I was tired of carrying those heavy laptops. This one looks really lightweight the way Kareena Kapoor flips it through the metro station. I have joined it on Facebook before I purchase it: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sony-India/171737698908
Oddly enough, no body uses anything else but VGA. It's the standard, you want to plug into a projector 95% of the time you use VGA. The rest you might use HDMI. Anything else is just an excuse to sell an overpriced adaptor to convert it back.
i think what most of you guys are forgetting is that this is a LAPTOP not a netbook. thats what makes it so amazing.
people above are saying the innards could be beefed up but then it wouldnt be a laptop this light would it ;)
the reason they have picked the atom is purely for power consumption and weight etc. and the 550 runs great.
yes its expensive but its the only windows machine this size and power.
if you want a more powerful laptop buy one. but if you want the lightest machine with this much power. this is the one to have.
had mine 3 weeks now and its blown me away and everyone thats seen it.
name one other laptop that offers what this one does. then thats your answer on the price.

The Vaio X is the latest in a series of outstanding Sony designs. But, like the Vaio P, the innards of the machine could have been beefed up.
