Sorry

I accept the criticism and I apologise to Mr Neal.

I read the article and was interested in the product, but I knew that I would have to go and find more specs. Somehow that frustrated me.

@Albert

I don't normally do @ posts, but I can't resist.

Q. Is it NAS or a docking station

A. "A consumer NAS gateway" Second line in the page, larger than normal font, just under the title.

can't read what's not there

First google hit takes me to:

http://www.informationweek.com/news/hardware/peripherals/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=220000768

Which describes the device and shows up the missing info in the article.

since albert cant read

instead of crapping on him, i will just quote relevant parts of the review to answer his questions.

"A consumer NAS gateway"
" it is something of an easy-to-use consumer NAS device"
- So its a NAS

"FreeAgent DockStar is a network adapter "
- Network adaptors connect to networks.

No you dont need to read about it somewhere else, and I am willing to debate weather you are reading this site.

What is it

Is it NAS or a docking station, does it connect to the PC or the network? Must I read about it somewhere else? In which case why am I reading this site?
