@aNewbie: yes, that's why it seems that this features just set a proxy between you and the website you're surfing.. proxy is managed by opera who compress images and so on.. so I don't think there's a bit of magic ehe

I tried it, and it still doesn't feel right, as snappy as the UI is, as messy is the page rendering, and speed ??????

Eh?

IE and Opera has been my combination since Opera-6. It has served me a lot. And generally most people havent yet understood full potential. its lightweight tabs, sessions naming and snappy .MHT save are bliss.

Some 3 years back, I had once submitted them a u can say 40+ pages document of possible features improvements.

When this ver10 was about to go final few weeks back i was planning to write them a minor glitch having major impact but could took time to convey, may today through theinquirer it meant to b passed. Opera10 has super feature of keep downloading file even if u switch proxy from opera settings i.e. the file when starts downloading in opera is independent of further proxy changes. this blissful feature enables one to download another file through another proxy setting and these two files will keep happly downloading till finish. Now the glitch is that if i am downloading a separate file from no proxy setting then opera gives most bandwidth to no-proxy download bar and because of lesser priority to other proxy-ied bars and their download speed drops to 1-5th. Opera should just enhance code to distribute bandwidth evenly to whether it proxied or non-proxied.
