Already running...

Well, I had neither problems with downloads nor keys yesterday. I've hooked up online first thing in the morning, saw files posted, hit download, and in about 2 hours I had Enterprise and Ultimate ISOs. Weird enough - they are different size, but never mind that.

What I wanted to say is that Enterprise is running on this here computer right now, and hopefully there won't be any major problems anytime soon. There are two smaller problems that I had in RC as well, but MS was assuring me they exist only on my computer. Oh well..

Akamai to the resuce!!

Yesterday afternoon the ISOs were available on the Tech Net site but when I first tried to download, the servers were so clogged with traffic that only about 500 MB got downloaded in 4 hours. A few hours later, MS got Akamai to help with the traffic and I had the full 3 GB ISO in about 20 minutes.

So...

So, if I've already pre-ordered, and the ISO is *cough* already available via electronic means, why can't I have my license key?

Yet again the instincts of the marketing people for a big splash make piracy the popular option. Except it's not really piracy, because I've paid for the product...

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
