"For the first three months of 2009, Internet advertising revenue in the US was $5.5 billion, down a notable five per cent from $6.1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2008."
That is a very notable 5%, what with it being so close to the 10% mark and all.
Certainly the rise in sleezoid, non-tech ads on The INQ reinforces the feeling. Or is that due to the absence of Mike and the fading away of Charlie and Sylvie? I really used to enjoy this rag.
The animation success in America "The Simpsons" featured a funny spin on pharmaceutical products, one called "Ignore-it-All". So all the commercials or adds featuring violence or anything else as a matter of fact has lost it's effectiveness because of the pills we take.
Doesn't it feel like we are living in a dying world? Opps! Where is my bottle of "Ignore-it-All"
I guess that AdBlock plugin works!
