You forgot the Jobs can align himself with the devil, haven't you? He can still pull the big bad Bill who would welcome the call to screw google.. That's big bill gates just in case you did not get it.

If I remember correctly, Vista was a bit of a boon for Apple OS market share.
I will grudgingly concede that, even with its vast coffers stuffed full of dough, MS can hardly afford another miserable failure of the size of Vista, so Win 7 almost has to be better. A lot better.
But will that be enough to drive the market share of the Apple OS down ? Somehow I doubt it.

Google is the closet thing to a monopoly on the internet and you complain about apple. ID rather see apple agin more power than add more to what google already has. Look at google search and how they didi everyone? YUO THINK ITS A LITTLE ANTI-competitive to have only google search on the browser. No one says anything about this? I dont care what google has or who they have in there pocket. google better watch it. Apple owns the ipod market, owns itunes, own 20% of the pC market. And yout hink google is a threat because they own youtube or have friends on washington? lol. Apple is in many hardware markets as well. Many manufacturers in China and other places depend more on apple than google. Google should tread lightly. Google thinks of themselves as untouchable and Apple will not bend to googles will as everyone else does.. If I was Apple Id say Bring it on. They have the public. And when you have the public with as fierce a fan base as apple dont ever under estimate what can be done. Without MS and Apple, Where is Google?

Apple already lost it! Like half its market share!:

Apple has been way to hesitant to leverage on the momentum it created with the first iPhone.

I decided to take mediocre steps to micro-improve their products in terms of hardware and software.

This way it allows the rest of the crowd to close the gap and set the blinker for overtaking Apple on their own turf.

Windows Mobile 7, Android, W7, Microsoft Mesh, Google Docs and especially Chrome OS will give Apple a run for its money.

Apple may loose its main competitive advantage: easy of use and style.

Apple has 12 month to sort themselves out. If they don't, they will become an also ran.
