After shaking hands with Microsoft, Yahoo should be sure to count their fingers.

The people who were intending to buy Windows 7 are still going to buy it, and this just caters to the individuals who were going to wait for a 7 crack anyway or just not purchase it. Microsoft really shouldn't be too worried, word on the street is that they really got it right this time with Windows 7, and people will allocate their money accordingly.

I just tried searching for "box" on both Yahoo (aka Bing) and Google.

On Yahoo, "Microsoft Xbox" was the second hit. Google gave a long list of boxes, with Xbox only several pages in.

So this seems to be the real "benefit" of using Yahoo/Bing; according to Microsoft, the whole world revolves around them.

I think I'll stick with Google, thanks just the same (and stick it to Microsoft, whose heavy-handed business tactics I cannot stand).

Looks quite possible that Ask Jeeves will be throwing in the towel and using Google results in the future:

If so, that's two of the top four search engines suddenly no more.

Two second rate search providers will just become one larger second rate entity.

MSN's search was trash, Bing isn't any better (Still the same database as before just a prettier page), Yahoo? Well, I haven't even called up their page in over 3 years and don't plan to start any time soon.

No search provider is perfect, but I can usually find what I want from google withing the first 2 pages of results.

Most of the time it's in the top 4 sites on the list.

I seriously doubt Mahoo will be able to match that.

...This is all just speculation...again?
