AMD now did not have competitive products for their microprocessor. I expect until quarter 3 2010, they will still loss. Intel will roll out Larrabee in that quarter. In that schedule, NVIDIA will buy AMD after AMD shed additional debts at least 1 billion dollar.

#1 Anti-trust, as getting a hold of ATI would have the regulators up in arms.
#2 Intel would just cancel the X86 license as they have a it cant be sold clause
