Intel is really fear if they loose in ongoing litigation with nvidia. Absolutely, Intel did not want for new license in x86 architecture. Intel know if they loose ongoing litigation with nvidia, they could be forced to make cross license agreement or licensed their quickpath interconnect. AMD is know about this card that intel playing. AMD have problem in cross license agreement with intel, and they know the threat if intel loose with nvidia means the license with AMD will be loose. Dirk Meyer have been told by Otellini if intel loose with nvidia they will be cut the cla with amd.

Scratches head.... Was it not that long ago that the Green Team was telling us the GPU was the heart and soul of the computer, that the CPU was just an add-on? Now they are pimping CPUs on an equal basis with GPUs! Must be they think they can manufacture CPUs now.
