MHz/s nonsense

Dear vondrashek,

There is NO SUCH THING AS MHz/s!

M is Million and Hz = Hertz = Amplitude change PER SECOND.

So: MHz/s would be Million amplitude changes per second per second which after doing the maths would result in Million amplitude changes in no specified time = nonsense.

Thanks for your understanding and stop the nonsense please.

By the way: Those who run DDR3 @ 1066MHz even with EXTREMELY LOW LATENCIES OF 5 CLOCKS, are stoopid as it has lower throughput as DDR2 @ 800MHz CL5 because of the latency penalty of the DDR3.

C9 latency

They were put through their paces at Anandtech and on average it seems that slower 1600Mhz memory with tight C7 latency gives better all round results than 2133Mhz at loose C9

You're paying a premium for the headline grabing SuperPI not real world benefits?

Most DDR# Setups are 1066 Mhz/s....

Its GOOd that Speed IS Up. Yet, On What specific Main & CPU will Play articles Memroy at FULL Speed? Maybe None. Maybe Not Even Half Way Close. So Whats POINT?

Probably AMD Phenom II Do About Same Actual Mhz/s, Cut Back Memory Speed, & that Can Only Go So Far Back & BE In Workable Parameters.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
