The only problem with your theory is that Android is a LINUX platform. It isn't a Java OS. A Java based BROWSER would work very well on an ANDROID platform Smartphone. I find that Opera Mini is a better browser on my Smartphone than Explorer. Make a Java based Browser that works better on an Android platform phone and you've got a point.
I think he's referring or hinting on Android based phones, why make other java-based phones instead of uniting their efforts with Google and standardizing android's sdk !!!
I believe it's for everyone's good.
I thought Larry's enthusiasm about a JavaFX version of Open Office was intriguing. Are we going to get an Office Suite that will run across desktops, laptops, PDAs, and phones? Could be interesting.
