I guess that certain businesses will continue to upgrade and expand, but I doubt that'll make much difference to the hardware market. In the short term, the market may remain stable with shifts in consumer demands, but as the economy keeps going down the crapper, I don't see how pc hardware could possibly be 'market resistant'.
