I am a Jordanian and I can assure you that we elect our parliament the same way that any constitutional monarchy does. And like any other democracy our parliament are full of self serving corrupter business men, after all this is the main outcome of democracy, is not it?

Anyway, we also have the right of speech; all around us, in news papers and on the Internet you will find Jordanians expressing their opinions against the government and its policies, same as in Egypt and same elsewhere. But as we all know having the right to speech does not mean that governments do the well of people.

If it is ware up to the people, the 1st thing that our governments will do is to go to war with Israel. But since our regimes are put there and supported to stay there by the “west”, they do not fulfill the well of the people, but the well of the west. Those people who blow themselves up are not doing it out of religion but are doing it out of despair, as they believe that they can never change anything by living, maybe they can be sacrifice their lives trying.

The ordinary Muslim does not hate Israelis or Jewish people, but hate children killers and home destroyers; they hate trees cutters and life takers, the hate massacres doers and mosque defilers. Millions were kicked out from their homes when Israel was established, their homes where stolen and their mosques were converted to cows and pigs barns, still we stretched our arms for peace too often and each time it were the Israelis that backed out on their agreements and forsaken peace (Simply because nobody in their world is forcing them to comply to legitimacy).

It is a historical fact that Jews has enjoyed all kinds of freedom in the Arab and Muslim countries throughout the ages and up to the establishment of Isreal. A country that its citizenship is based on religion, the only country in the world that views people of one religion as superior to other citizens, and works actively to exile all non Jewish people from their homes and villages.

By the way, I once read that “History” came from the two words “His Story”. So it is up to you to believe it or not. I personally would find it very hard to believe anything I read or watch on the Zionist-controlled western media as our media in the Muslim world shows a complete different side of the story. I am sure that they are both biased to a degree or another, but the problem is that the western people are not getting the other side of the story as their media is so controlled by people that are brainwashed with Israeli propaganda.

Israel is a democracy, yes. And Iraq is a democracy just like Egypt, Jordan and the rest of the Arab countries are, if you consider them a democracy because I don't.
