its very good value...for a lot of people, games are free, without even mod chipping thx to backup loader apps....and as long as they making $ on the hardware, i guess they dont care , everyones a winner
Basically, the ideal credit crunch console (like the alliteration?). Cheap to buy, cheap to run, plenty of decent budget games (esp. for the casual gamer, which has been the market that's ballooned with the Wii), and yes, lots of fun in the inevitable downtime...
The greenness - not actually that bad, and very low power usage is the icing on the cake. Ignore the misinformed Greenpeace b*ll*cks, that's just because they won't reply to the stupid surveys.
People losing their jobs = people with more free time = wii/ds sales increase.
Filling the blank in our free time is quite cheap actually, as anyone can afford any nintendo console. Nintendo is really smart, I wish they have been greenier, they would have been one of the best companies in the world.
