i used to be into pc gaming.Since i got a ps3, I havent needed to purchase a new gfx card , or a new computer.I haven't purchased a pc game for years now.

So if anyonone at ATI or NV is interested, pc gaming is not what it used to be , the world has changed , and the desire to have the latest and greatest gfx card is becoming a thing of the past.

I suspect they know this already and thats why they are now touting graphics gpu's as the new cpu.

no games

i invite anyone to visit any game store and tell me the number tittles available for PC or if any of them is worth it all.

These GPU makers better star to incentivate game studios or in a blink they will see their business go down the sink.

Nice one : Arab Micro Devices

It's a funny comment about the fact that AMD wouldn’t have survived without Mubadala's money or it would have been a much different situation. Now that Mubadala owns 33% of AMD's current manufacturing facilities with 60% coming in the New York project, we could say it's now a much tanned, camel ridding, company ;)

One small problem...

For PC sales to improve people need to have money to spend.

No job = no money = no purchases

Floundering (sic)?

Via may be foundering, but it certainly isn't floundering.

founder v.intr.
1. To sink below the surface of the water: The ship struck a reef and foundered.
2. To cave in; sink: The platform swayed and then foundered.
3. To fail utterly; collapse: that business soon foundered after the market crash.

Pronto U said? Maybe if.

Maybe if they make a limited time offer like: Buy one at regular price and get one FREE ;) for your SLI/CF pleasures, I think that would work... No? ;b

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
