Itanium is large enough to land an F-18 on and it would use all the production in China. It would also provide full utilization for all the new coal power plants that China is building since Itanium uses 130W each. China should than force everyone in China to buy at least one Itanium computer.

So why not add whole bunch of chips to hold together lcd signal & display to focus clean sharp image 4" from screen? Add stuff to bring whats already on production, to useable quality. Maybe a more interesting and apposite story is Intel moving capacity from Shanghai to Chengdu (Sichuan, South West China - where it already had a plant). SMIC is there too.

A more subtle and helpful analysis would be to see how busy local chip design houses are.
