Wichita Eagle hack

Thanks for the shout-out. It has been interesting. Although I file posts 140 characters at a time, I file multiple posts throughout the day. I added up one day's worth of tweets and it was the equivalent of an 80-inch newspaper story. My stories for the print edition are limited to 25 inches. What I've learned is people won't read an 80-inch story on a trial in the paper but they will read it 140 characters at a time. So followers actually end up spending more time (and a greater attention span)and getting more detail. Plus, the people who follow indicate they are not ones to read the newspaper. BTW, love the cartoon.

Article does not meet tweeter spec

Should have tried to make an example by limiting news item of 600 charaters to 140.

Remember when..

Remember the good old days when people had a 30 second attention span. Now it's 140 characters. I wonder why they bother to get out of bed?

Do you think the move was justified?
