I purchased a sharp tv last year. Picture wise it is very nice. it was a 32 inch for my bed room and it was as good as any sony/sams at the store. It's sad to see that another brand is becoming just that, a brand that Chinese junk is sold under.

Sharp, once the mighty LCD king has dropped considerably in sales due to constantly bad QC/QA/manufacturing. If they can't get band-free and absolute black panels from their own manufacturing and processing plants run by people who value their work more than their own families, what makes them think they can do better from a rent-a-plant who pays people barely enough to stay a live?
