''The i7 plus SSD is the gaming rig for those who have cars better than you''
you are a moron charlie,so you will pay 1000 for a processor and 800 for a ssd drive just because your neighbor (who has a better car than you)bought one.
"The Gigabyte and Asus versions of the 790FX, 780G and 790GX are solid, and they don't differ appreciably from the Foxconn versions."
I can vouch for the 790FX version. I bought the deal the day it came out. Read lots of editorial reviews before buying. Most of them didn't give it a great rating, but their gripe was that it costs too much, even though it's performance was right with the other 790FX counterparts. But with the deal, it's not really an issue now :)
Newegg.com had a bundle with 940 mobo and video card for like 500 US.
Its strange that amd wouldn't create a bundle with a gpu for a just add ram solution.
An E8500 with a P43 will have 90% to 95% performance in games of an i7 at a fraction of the price.
To 'charlie edison'- He's saying it's only for rich people. Not because your neighbour bought one. Dumbass.

<q We heartily recommend both, the X25-E drives are so fast it is kind of silly, and the i7 is too.</q
I have to disagree, money will run out faster out of my walllet.
