Eeepc ? Make your bed and lie in it...

For Asus it is the EeePC, for Intel it's the Atom. Every major company has a moment of inspiration where they 'turn the market' - followed by up to 5 years of grief as the Far East 'Copy is Right' brigade jump on board... and EVERYONE'S ASP heads for the toilet. With OEMs like HP cutting up to 80% of their orders/forecasts with Intel etc, and the advent of Yukon/Neo, you can expect many of the top brands to suffer serious wabbles in 2009...

In Todays Sunday Ads, You can get Home Premium, 3 gb DDR2, Intel 7??? & usual assortment of goods. Vista /Was Blotched by Hardware, Not keeping UP with Changing Market. Now Market is Gone Down (Poorly), No Real O/S of Newness coming on to Disrupt Low Prices, Hardware will Have To Get Used to It. Its Parts Wibble, Yet, Why Kick 'Em In Nuts, when Trying to Move from 500 Mb O/s (xp) to 10 Gb O/s (7). Still, Low Cost will rules roost NOW. STeWie Drashek
