Also FAR, it's only going to be cheaper than a regular pet if you have some sort of solar recharge device for it as I'm betting it uses a significant amount of power when active.

I can just see these things being made in larger err.. 'dolls' for very desperate men though.. this is Japan we are talking about after all. :)
