Yea, Canada feels much of that love. Although given the real exchange rate being $200 USD ~= $250 CAD, usually Radeon HD4870 1GB cards go for about $300 CAD without sales taxes. Although the British case is infinitely worse, its still sad to see that just a few hundred kilometers north (where the headquarters used to be btw -.-'), we're getting shafted too.
Surely we can have a "grey market" supplier for these goods?
If it can be done for cars and motorbikes, then it must be possible to do it for computer parts.
Grey market is where the same goods are bought cheaply and re-imported through unofficial channels for a cheaper shelf price. Typcially saving 15-20% on the price of a car or motorbike.
