So this OS from Intel has SSE3 support? Excellent. now i will be able to transcode movies on my netbook way faster... should cut the time down from 24 hours to 23!!! Woohoo!! I love you Intel!
the mainstream Nehalem derivative Lynnfield will be called core i5, so i7 makes sense. I'm guessing Havendale will be called i3 and i7, i5 and i3's 32nm shrinks will be probably called i8, i6 and i4. That's just my guess though, but Lynnfield is i5 for sure. You can see that in the many early previews that have turned up on various sites. cpu-z identifies Lynnfield as i5.
I wonder how stable this operating system will be once we start overclocking with it?
I am tempted to try my ASUS 1005HA netbook with it now! http://bit.ly/44CHFm

Intel is such a big company and this is all they can produce?
God it must be crisis in the USA :-)
I'd be tempted to try out Intel's Netbook Linux OS except for that fact that I've got Windows 7 Beta running on my Acer Aspire One 8GB SSD version.
"flair for names"
How about Mob-ile Lin-ux.
Reminds me of a name they'd give to a bathroom suite.
I'm not beyond believing that this is intentional.

A moblin is actually a creature from Zelda
