What makes a serious psychiatric illness so attractive that anyone wants to describe the latest bits of electronic stuff in its deadly terms?

Anorexia kills more young people than any other mental illness.

Supper thin supper weak fat and heavy wall brackets? I have too agree with storm cloud above to what point is a thin screen going to remove the pixelation that you get with Sony screens I thought that the LCD screens where about who could create the best possible moving picture even with the weaknesses the LCD has like it changes colour when viewing from different angels and has a poor green Sony will you take note you are going down the toilet 2 billion most from the failed PS3 ask yourself do you think your thin screen is the right path to take but please hurry your time is running out my screen is about 2” thick the wall makes it 4” think when viewing head on its lovely

Really thin....Umm why?

I just don't get the race for thinner and thinner screens. I'm sat here looking at mine now and as I'm staring at it straight on, it could be 10mm or 100mm or...well you get the idea. It's a lot of extra cash for a load of old marketing bullocks.

Just hurry up a fuse a UHD 3D display chip to my retina already.

Sony tech?

Sony no longer has a TV factory. It gets all its LCD panels from a "join venture" with Samsung managed by "Korean". You need to wait for OLED if you want a Sony panel.

Anyway a thinner LCD panel has minimum practical advantage, unless it is energy efficient and can be implemented in a laptop.
