CH-DVD is now known as CBHD (China Blue High-Definition). It's based on the HD-DVD laser.

If it really does win in China, I'll consider it a bit of a consolation, because I preferred HD-DVD in the last format war.

Well no worries...

the Chinese will only copy the plant 44 times and then mass reproduce whatever they can get their hands on.

Soon the 'retailer' on the corner will have the 20 cent BluRay movies :)
