The fact is getting your music into a GH/RB games is one of the last decent revenue streams for many bands past their sell-by date.

I have to say, it's nothing like playing guitar. However, since I started playing GH on expert mode I *have* noticed that my timing is a lot tighter than it used to be.

I expect it's something to do with enforced accuracy on the game versus my lackadaisical practise sessions.

What a douche bag this guy is. Don't forget to tell the kids that there is no Santa Claus after you remind them that nothing they are doing is as important as what you're doing.

...I think he's right. Playing GH doesn't teach you how to play a guitar or any kind of music either.

It might at least get people wanting to play a guitar nothing else...and Noel isn't necessarily saying that GH is a bad.

But, where this Cats right, is dead on, all these Guitar Hero and Rock Band Type Games just suck and give People an entirely incorrect assessment of there Musical Talents.

It's not that simple to play the Guitar, I've been doing so for years and I STILL SUCK AT IT!!

But I'm still able to derive pleasure form doing so and for me. Well that's kind of the point!

So looked at like that I have no problems with either Game, but to equate this tosh with real Musical Ability is just nuts!!
