Worry.

Margaret, for your information, there has been NO link found between microwave antennas and cancer etc.
Besides, the radio active waves radiated from these masts is negligible and cannot do any serious damage.
The levels of radiation are constantly checked for safety and if it is found that the levels are too high, it is closed down and examined.

Hi Aaron

Aaron,
The Underground still has its own system which works! If and when there is an incident, the Emergency Services will use their Tetra equipment underground.
"Walkie Talkies were radio waves, which do not penetrate living beings. Microwave radiation is attracted to every living (water-based) thing.
Tetra will be emitting MICROWAVE radiation continuously and not just when there is an incident.
Please take time to read the articles I mentioned previously.
Try looking up "Microwave Radiation" followed by any illness you care to read about, e.g. cancer, leukaemia, obesity, aggression, etc.

You what Margaret?

Margaret.... What's so bad about TETRA? They've had radio underground for years so I don't see how it makes any difference. Furthermore, what about the 3K of left-over energy hitting the planet from the big-bang, surely this does more damage than some walkie talkies?

Clearly you need to stop worrying.

Mrs

At what cost to everybody's wellbeing?
We now have the whole of the London Underground irradiated with microwaves. The system is TETRA, the most aggressive technology, which emits radiation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I hope the Rail Unions take note when sickness levels increase amongst rail staff.
Members of the public cannot link to TETRA, so it is not going to be as great as they are trying to tell us.
Read Tetrawatch and B.Trower's Confidential Report for the Police Federation. If you live near a TETRA mast, as we do, you will shudder at this news.

Wrong bombings date

The bombings were in 2005, not 2007.

"crime is down on the underground"

I wonder if he meant to say that "crime has decreased on the underground", or was he just pointing at that it's a good place to get mugged?

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
