...the 1.2Bil being handed out to the Middle East (only 35% is going to AMD now) for the new Fab, the "entertainment" for folks like Spitzer and the new Gov Patterson (hotel rooms for his "friend"), and all the other corrupt NY state government officials (who are 2nd only to the great state of the Chosen One, Illinois). This is just a money grab for a state with an out of control budget and some of the highest sales and property taxes in the US. With all of the Wall St layoffs and the reduction in bonuses, NY's tax base is about to take a huge hit. Rather than do what people would do (but spending?!?!?), they just raise more taxes...
