99flake: Do you just own a single electronic device in your house or room for the matter? I'm sick and tired of wires being pulled from the pc to the speakers/printer/scanner/keyboard and i'm sure i'm not alone. So far I have managed to make my keyboard and mouse wireless (thanks microsoft) and my printer-cum-scanner has also gone wireless (thanks hp) and now, this sound blaster thing is god sent. Let me paint you this senarior, you have a truckload of songs on your pc with several play-lists and sometimes i'm sure you would love to listen to those tunes while cooking in the kitchen, while bathing in the bath room or while playing board games with the family. With this wireless device, you can stream music to all the above places w/o having to line cables to each respective area. I have the X-Fi PCI sound card and it sounds really good with my gaming so i'm definitely getting this itunes sound blaster thingy when it's out ...
Since its not out till the latter part of 2009 that gives the boffins at creative some time to work out how this might actually be useful to anyone in the real world...
Obviously they have never heard of that wonderful invention called "a cable" :
A cable needs no batteries, runs on any frequency you like more or less, can be extended to any length you like, has virtually no distortion for faithful reproduction and is capable of gigabit speeds - top that with your why-fi..

Did someone learn a new word yesterday? The obstensible use of a aprarent synonym.
Sound quality is said to be 'CD', but as we know, CD isn't sometimes quite as good as Albert Hall.
Maybe they will release an "Albert Hall" or "Wembley Stadium" version.
lol, what a dumb comment

Big Fing Deal. Wi-Fi uses frequency hopping anyway so what exactly is special about this device?
