You know, if you look at GTX295 it's also not double as fast compared to a 8800 which is half the price... that goes for every card actually... prices rarely reflect performance.

I don't know for you, but as long as multiple gpu price won't be proportionnal with performance gain (like paying double the price for 20-30% increase...or 5% if unlucky). Yeah I know it's called higher-end. But SLI & Crossfire is just plain crap most of the time, plus there the premium for the motherboard.
