About as hard to find as a box of cheerios .... ok, well it's harder than that, but it's in stock at newegg.com and zipzoomfly.com, and all over ebay ......
The BS continues to flow ...... seems that is not hard to find in Charlies' articles either.
Not vapor at all (or paper launch, as some call it). I bought mine 2 days ago at a store that had 10 which were all sold until the closure of the store, and had a bunch more coming in next Monday (the 12th-Jan).
"We spent the last few days checking all over Taiwan, and the 295 is pure vapor"
Wow, and to think that if you spent less than a minute as of this moment (9:23pm local time, Jan 7, 2008) doing a quick search at Newegg, you would've found not one, but 4 different models on sale from Asus, EVGA, BFG and Zotac, all in stock, I feel so bad for you wasting "days" checking all over Taiwan LOL
Those score are mighty if they're right.
but (excuse my ignorance) is 295gtx only a die shrink of the 280 to 40nm?
result seems way too good for just that.
wow charlie, just "Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V" and then you're a reporter? these are the nvidia benchmarks using nvidia's media drivers (the ones that inflate scores)! and this card is already available in the states for $520.
Looks like Charlie just helped me find my new video card- nice fast single card for windows gaming, plus useable under linux (which is about 60% of my PCs booted time) unlike the horrible painfest that is the ATI linux drivers.
Nice benchmarks other that they're quite useless when you don't compare them to ATI cards. Of course since Nvidia's new offerings beat them, you don't want to show that positive aspect, but rather brag with your early scores.

Good one!
now all you have to do is admit that you didnt expect this card to exist, or sell for a comparitively reasonable price agains 4870 x2.....
Keep nicking the benchmarks from the nvidia reviewers PDF ! heh I hope nvidia find out who gave you it.
hits by any means possible, you go girl !

Hi liars, these scores are from NVIDIA Reviewers Guide. And GTX 295 i can buy in many European shops. Gigabyte has them on stock in many countries.
What chance of survival does a drop of water have in hell...
So whats the chances of being able to buy of of these tomorow?
Good job charlie, keep up the good work
