to jian

It might help if you learn to read. Charlie said GTX280x2 would be impossible.

Typical of an idiotic nvidia fanboi, rearrange somebody's words to suit yourself.

Actually...

@Martin, I happen to be an ATI user, not an Nvidia user, so your fanboy quips are pointless and unsupported. I'm just smart enough to see biased reporting when it blatantly slaps you in the face.

about time

Its about time NV started doing something right. ATI's cards are too expensive at the moment IMO. Its good healthy competition that we need. I want a 4850x2 for £200.

Looks Fishy

These slides read just like marketing slides. I am sorry to say but it looks like marketing slides were leaked from Nvidia and posted on the site.

GTX295

Its here too http://vr-zone.com/articles/geforce-gtx-295-vs-hd-4870-x2-benchmarks/6297.html?doc=6297 looks like 4870x2 is going to get whacked.

Didn't Charlie say this card isn't possible?

I thought he said it was never coming because it couldn't be done...LOL.

Whatever.

the worlds a stage

I agree Anton, I have the ATI card maybe I should buy myself a present for being such a good boy. Maybe a new "I love ATI" shirt. (end sarcazm)

opinions and "I heard" = whatever

oh come onn

this is the thing, they not leaning towards anything. Inq is bashing everything in their sight, Nv and Ati alike. they are like this grumpy hamster that is pissed of at the entire world, sitting under a tree and spewing his little cute sht around. and that's it is absolutely fun to read, lol

PS, i have the nV card in my PC, should this article offend me? please advise

pretty pleased

i too am pretty pleased by a bit of positive nvidia reporting, as i agree the site has been heavily leaning toward ATI if not that when nvidia utterly ruled the roost with 8800, we didnt hear half as much stick for ATI as when the situation is slightly in favour of ATI. it may be a bit of a stretch to imagine this card drawing less power than a 4870 X2, but if again it does, the charlie demerjihan should shut up shop and just take his red botty all the way home, because it would be a major spanking for him from nvidia

Lol

Hardly, Martin, several writers here have a clear bias against Nvidia and you can clearly see it in the majority of amd/ati/nvidia articles that are published.

Obviously this is to get hits. When 'hits' on a page no longer matter and it's time spent on a site that is monitored, it'll probably stop.

Sigh...

Whingy fanboys like you DarkElfa, are exactly why giving Nvidia a bit of stick is so much fun. Besides, Inquirer takes a sarcastic viewpoint on damn near everything and thats the only reason I'm here.

Do you think the move was justified?
