It is possible to have a 16 inch 4:3 monitor. I have a 17 inch Dell flat panel monitor and it's mainly 4:3.

It supports 16:9, but Windows seems to register it as 4:3. My 360, uses 16:9.

A possible answer

I would hazard a guess that the 16" screens they are refering to are what the manufacturers here call 17" screens, I think they label them differently in the states, as my tv is a 36" over here, but the same model in the us is called a 34"

Most common widescreen size - 27 inch?

Shureley shome mishtake.

4:3 Display size - 16 inch is most common, huh? 23% have this screen size.

16:9 Display size - 27 inch is most common, 18% have this screen size.

Do steam players mostly have 27 inch widescreen gaming monitors? I feel inadequate and not much of a man with my lowly 22 incher!

Are those figures right?

Can you even buy a 16 inch 4:3 screen?

Where are these 16 inch screens?

Are 27 inchers more common than 17 or 19 or 22 or 24 inch? I doubt it.
