If I'd had a cuppa,...

I shoulda bought into AMD when the price was low. They have reliable worry-less products with long life, durability, performance,... all at a bargain. In Spite of Wishing and Wanting, I've always been a fan of Mr. Byrne, and the other Talking Heads. I'm sure that Mr. Byrne and Microsauce will ultimately go on to make beautiful music together. Perhaps not as good as The Fireman, but then who can argue with electricity?

Ring-Ring: Wake up call for Intel...

Nothing that's happened over the past 4 years will have as big an impact on Intel's business as this appointment.

Give it 3 months for the initial effects to be felt and around 1 year for the resonance to really kick in.

Just checked my Scots/Utah dictionary and apparently 'Byrne' means 'Tacoma Narrows'.

2009/10 just got interesting :~)

good news for AMD

Thanks, Sylvie, this is the first good news from and for AMD since very long. After living through the extended swoon of AMD's share price, I think now of adding a few again for the price of some chocolate bar. Thumbs up, AMD, and - sobre todo - thumbs up for Senior Byrne!

Do you think the move was justified?
