I have a wii and enjoy the games that I've bought for it-- but there really is a shortage of great wii games. Too many are still essentially product demos and proof-of-concept programs. We get it, we get how the controller works. Now, would someone release a really compelling game for it? The best games came out in the first year of the console's life and big names aren't really working too hard on turning any out, it seems. It's a perfect time for someone to release the killer wii app... right now... a real game that will hook people (I'd even settle for a great JRPG, honestly) because there is a huge customer base.
