Wow....

Compliments to the South-Africans and to the Russians.

They seem to be bright enough not to make "youtube" appear in the top 10.

The link is RIGHT BELOW the search field!!

The Darwin award goes to India, though.
"Google" is at number 4.

Good to know that the world's IT outsourcing is in good hands....

Zeitgeist

The statistics that Zeitgeist has brought up seem interesting...and useful now that I have discovered a 24 year old bollywood hottie: Katrina Kaif.

Social networking searches

LOL i totally understand you on that one. you would be amazed at how many people search for a social network instead of just going to the large ones directly.

i have seen clients type in the url in google search box.

@krs360

Wife often does this. Home page has a search engine and the cursor defaults to the search term field. It's easier to just type in "google.com" and hit enter in the search field than to move the mouse cursor all the way up to the address bar.

krs360: a lot of Internet users (and I mean, like 30%) doesn't know what the address bar is for, and they just type whatever they want into Google. Some of them even think Google is the starting point of the Internet.
You'll even see people typing "Yahoo" into Google to get to their emails.

Confused

I am confused....

Why are facebook, bbc, etc the top rated searches? Why would people search for them? Why not just type in the address bar?

Am I using the internet wrong??!

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
