Hitachi

THey´ll also run you around when it comes to warranty work. I have TWO drives with the dreaded ¨ Head clatter of death¨ where the heads suddenly start clattering and going back and forth over the disks in a never ending cycle. Told Hitachi about it emailed, called....... UUGGGH!
I wish their alliance well......

Ubuntu LiveCD is your cloning software

Oh please. Any Ubuntu LiveCD can clone your hard disk, for free. See Partition Editor.

Do Intel provide disk-copying software for new hard drives?

because Hitachi don't.

Buy a new hitachi hard drive to replace or upgrade your existing hard drive and you will need to buy cloning software. Buy a Seagate/Maxtor etc and the cloning software is included.
