Well I don't remember anybody sharing my name when I was in class.
That said, if somebody wants to contact me, an email will do fine - as long as it is from his/her own mail account.
I work by whitelists - it's amazing the amount of crap I simply never see.
Of course, it may just be that I have missed genuine offers to meet like that, but I really doubt it.
Personally, although I hate spam with a passion, I think this guy is just trying for his fifteen minutes and making a fuss to get a refund. Pathetic.

If this lawsuit will stop the incessant spamming of my email addy, then more power to him. I get reunion requests from classmates.com for people who don't even share my name.
