by forcing prices high.

USA sucks for consumer rights, how come so many USA companies overcharge for their products and their people just take it?

If you like Intel cpu's, then you better pray that AMD are competitive because that will force both to deliver better products at lower prices. Competition and effective laws helps us, come on Yankees please push for some better laws. Don't allow Intel to force prices higher than they should be if market forces were to apply freely.

Intel = against the free market.
At "Titius". The project remains, its just that the initial attempt was scrapped.

The original 45nm "Bobcat" was canceled. In its place is the 32nm one called "Ontario", planned for 2011. Its a dual core with a GPU.
It would be fantastic if AMD teamed up with a'nix provider and released a good linux flavour for it... as well as a good/simple SDk for people to write games themselves, AKA Amiga days :-)
Hi, my name is Charlie and I love AMD. I review parts I haven't touched yet and write down bombastic headlines based on pure speculation. That is what the readers want to read anyway. If I write so much about AMD's superiority, maybe it will come true.
I think I have an idea what AMD's Atom-beater is...Its a licence built version of the VIA Nano connected to an AMD Hypertransport based mobo!
You all will think that this preposterous, both VIA and AMD (well sorta) are fabless, that means that AMD will benefit from increased netbook sales and TFC will gain from the new customer. Such an agreement will mean that AMD has to pay licence fees to VIA, but that is a small price to pay.
What would really be interesting is if software firms looked at the possibility of writing gaming titles that are compatible with the Atom and the "Atom Smasher". Could make things interesting, yes?

I'd Push TV Tuner cards, As Public Loves Stuff. Especially ATSC & Hdmi w/ blu. & super sound:10.1, Dx 11 & 4.2 exe inst cap, plus whole Goober loads of Stuff. Maybe AMD/ Mains with whole system(Proc, Main & Graphic (w/hdmi sound) from factory. after all($500 item aint cheap), its just bunch o' cheap parts, that if done right, out do other private assemblers.

Ahso Intel is NASDQ & Stable in mid 13, while AMD is NYSE & looking for Turnaround Point, Desparately, with Unforseen Stock Market Probs, AMD is Getting Twice Slap, with opteron sales falling off up to 50%.
